Be the go-to person to support and assist our Lead Organisers and the broader organising team.

Do you love working with people, listening, problem solving and getting the job done? Are you empathetic, compassionate and effective? If so, join us in building the best team of organisers in the world.
As an Organiser for THO, you support our Lead and Senior organisers in delivering the most effective changes to our client’s homes, so they can relax and enjoy them more. If they need something moved, removed or organised, you know how to do it (or know someone who does).
You are critical to our client’s experience. You help the team declutter, move and remove things, organise and tidy, so our clients receive a service they love – and their home back as quickly as possible.
Why join The Home Organisation?
We’re passionate about changing people’s lives! In three years, we’ve grown fast and expanded our service offering to help clients across London and the south of England discover space, relieve stress, and find a more relaxed, organised and enjoyable way of living.
And we’re still growing! Our vision is to build the best team of professional organisers to deliver the best home services in the world.
We’re expanding The Home Organisation into new cities so people around the country can feel the benefit of more organised and beautiful homes and we’re seeking amazing people to help us grow and develop our exceptional team.
If you want to build the best new home services by helping and teaching clients to better enjoy their homes – we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll lead a team of dynamic and knowledgeable organisers to deliver beautifully functional spaces for our clients. You’ll work closely with the Area Manager and Senior Organiser to understand the client’s needs (including practical outcomes, timeframes, style and budget), and will be responsible for communicating with the team and the client to ensure the project is successfully delivered to the highest standards (and leaving a thrilled client!).
Working as part of a 2-6 person team, you’ll provide hands-on editing and organisation support. You’ll work closely with the client to understand their needs and goals, and will create a working plan which you’ll continually assess and prioritise, and communicate this effectively to the team to create a successful result. You understand what makes a room work well, what the team needs, and will be able to overcome any challenges faced.
Using project management software, you will review and reflect on the delivery of each project to improve delivery and develop the team. You will be responsible for the management of the product inventory, and will oversee work by third party contractors. You will be responsible for the representation of The Home Organisation brand whist working in our clients’ homes, ensuring their experience is a really positive one that they want to share with everyone!
You will:
Be informed, knowledgeable and highly skilled in different decluttering and organising techniques, with a deep understanding of how to use those skills to benefit clients in different situations.
Be confident guiding the client through the editing process, including practical support and knowledge of moving and sorting rubbish/recycling/donations etc.
Use your skills to organise spaces within the home, both independently and with other members of the team, and you will share your skills to further develop the team.
Be informed and knowledgeable about the ways to dispose of different items from clients’ homes, of standard advice around paperwork storage/retention etc, and be able to confidently share that information with the clients.
Be the main point of contact for the client and team throughout our time at the client’s home.
Ensure the highest standards of attention to detail by reviewing the work of the whole team and providing critical feedback where necessary
Have an excellent working knowledge of technical aspects of the role, including basic DIY skills and use of standard equipment.
Use your people management skills to mentor new organisers to help them to develop their skills, and be a motivating and encouraging team leader.
