THE PROJECT BRIEF
To organise a kid’s bedroom
Our client had been using part of her daughter’s room as storage and wanted the space freed up to give her daughter room to grow and make the room her own. She also wanted new storage systems for clothes and toys.
After a big edit, we file-folded and labelled current clothes in the chest of drawers. To free up spaces, we used baskets to separate and store clothes to grow into discreetly on a high-up shelf. We also relocated cookbooks and paperwork from the room so more toys could be stored in the space.
To make books more accessible, we created a shelf display next to her bed. We stored books to grow into on a less accessible shelf so they were out of the way but ready to be swapped over at a later date.
