THE PROJECT BRIEF
To organise the open plan kitchen and living area.
Having a young baby, our client needed a kitchen that streamlined food prep and was easy to tidy up and keep clutter-free. Being open-plan, she also needed an area where her baby could play safely while she cooked.
We created a tea and coffee station above the kettle and moved the crockery and glasses above the dishwasher to help speed up her morning routine. The kitchen had deep cupboards so using pantry boxes that utilised the whole space created extra storage that was easy to access.
We installed a new cube-storage unit with large box inserts to store all the baby’s toys. It created a play area away from the cooking zone and meant toys could be quickly tidied away when guests came round.
