Our client and her family have moved into a new home in Highgate. She wanted to unpack quickly to help everyone feel settled and comfortable in the new space. With a busy job and two kids, she also wanted to use her time efficiently and get the house set up and functioning well, right from the start.
To unpack and organise the kitchen and children’s bedrooms in this new home.
Since it was a brand new home, the family didn’t know where to put everything. We designed a kitchen layout based on their routines and how they thought they’d use the space, to make using it feel easy and natural.
A few, simple organising products, from a pre-move edit we helped them with at their previous home, created a really functional space which could easily adapt as they made changes to the room over time, and put their own stamp on it.
The children needed to be ready for school on Monday, so we unpacked their clothes and toys and set up their rooms so they’d feel at home right away.
There was still lots of furniture to be bought and other finishing touches, but having the boxes cleared and the essential parts of the home set up in those first few days meant that our client and her family could really enjoy living in their new home.
