THE PROJECT BRIEF

To declutter and organise the kitchen and dining room area

Our clients lived in rented accommodation and found the existing layout no longer served their needs. With a passion for cooking and coffee, they needed surface space freed up to store a few appliances, without the space feeling overwhelmed.

Following an edit, we created a space plan that gave the kitchen clear zones. For the cooking zone we grouped utensils, spices, pots and pans close to the hob and used a display tray for quick access to essential cooking oils and salts. We also created a tea and coffee station in the cupboards above the coffee machine so everything they needed was in one area.

In the dining room cupboard, we added storage boxes to make better use of the space. This meant the alcohol on top of the cupboard could be stored below and the top was now freed up for a beautiful display!
