THE PROJECT BRIEF
To declutter and organise the basement
The basement had become full of things over time, and our client wanted to be able to walk in and clearly see and access the items she needed. She wanted smart storage that made the best use of the small space and gave the room a clean look.
During the planning process, we designed a shelving system to make the most of the space, and provide storage for everything our client wanted to keep.
After a huge edit, we categorised and contained smaller items using lidded storage boxes and placed larger items directly onto the shelves. To streamline her laundry process, we used open boxes on top of the washing machine to store her laundry supplies.
Clear lidded boxes were used to store her crockery so it was protected and easy to see. They stacked on top of each under the shelves which freed up extra floor space.
