With emerald green accents and filled with plants and personality, this home was loved by our client, but she struggled to maintain her bedroom and wardrobes and felt they were the weak link in her home. Having seen the benefits of an organised home first hand, she knew she wanted a space where everything had its place whilst still feeling homely, she just didn’t know where to start.
With a busy and energetic work day, our client wanted a serene space to relax and unwind in when she came home each evening, and to get up and out quickly and easily in the morning.
Our client is a personal trainer and has an inspirational array of gym clothing, but couldn’t find anything! We started by helping her decide what items she no longer needed or wanted.
With a bit of editing, a solid space plan and clever product use we were able to create a calm and composed space for our client, with everything laid out in a way that worked for her and her routines.
Being able to see what you have is crucial in an organised wardrobe. File folding as it makes it so much easier to see everything at a glance but sometimes it’s tricky to determine what is what if colours or styles are very similar. By dividing up the tops into sleeve length, separating them with drawer dividers and labelling each section, we created a really effective way for our client to choose her clothes, saving her time every day.
With large built-in cupboards and ample room for growth, space was not an issue. We focused on making the space beautiful as well as functional, choosing products like woven cotton baskets to bring the client’s personality into her new home. Creating a calm and organised wardrobe allowed us to create a calm, organised and relaxing bedroom too.
