THE PROJECT BRIEF
To declutter and organise key areas of the home to prepare for an upcoming move.
Our client has a busy job and busy home with two children. To make an upcoming move as easy as possible, our client wanted to have a big clear-out to be ready for the move when it came. She also wanted to reinvigorate some of their spaces and add a little polish so her home was looking its best before going on the market.
We started with a thorough edit of anything our client knew she wouldn’t want to bring to her new home. A big focus was the children’s toys, which always seem to end up everywhere. We categorised, contained and labelled so the house was organised and working well to make life easier in the build up to the move.
One of the biggest transformations was the paperwork. The family had no clear paperwork system to keep on top of things. We used one of our favourite products – suspension file boxes – to create a system that could easily be moved from one house to the next.
